Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for everything done with them. Anyone holding a key can spend your balance. Keys can be revoked instantly from your dashboard, and you should revoke any key you believe has been exposed.

One account may have several users. Every user shares the account's balance and can create their own keys; only owners can buy balance or manage the team.

Balance, pricing and expiry

Balance is prepaid and denominated in US dollars. Each call is priced from the published per-endpoint table, less your tier's usage discount, and debited when the call succeeds. Failed calls are not charged.

Balance expires twelve months after it is added. Expiry is shown on your account page for every package, and you are emailed before your balance runs low if you have that alert switched on. Expired balance is not refundable.

Availability

We aim for high availability and publish live health at /status, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-serve plans. The API depends on upstream sources we do not control, and we would rather say so than promise a number we cannot enforce.

When we cannot serve a request, it returns 502 and costs nothing.

Liability and termination

Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

Either side may terminate at any time. If we terminate without cause, we refund unused, unexpired balance. If we terminate for breach of the acceptable use policy, we refund unused balance but may decline to serve you again.
